How to make homemade pancakes for the whole family.
Homemade Pancakes from scratch is so much fun to do with the whole family.
Homemade Pancakes Recipe Ingredients
2 cups all purpose flour
½ tsp salt
1 ½ cups milk
2 ½ tsp baking powder
2 egg, at room temperature
2 tbsp butter, melted
2 tbsp of sugar
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract if you like
Get a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a different bowl, beat the eggs and then whisk in the vanilla and milk.
Next melt the butter in a pan.
Then add the melted butter into the milk mixture. Add the wet ingredients to the flour mixture, and whisk until a thick batter is just formed.
Place a skillet or pan at medium heat, ladle about 1/4 cup of the batter onto the skillet/pan, to make a pancake. Make 1 or 2 more pancakes, taking care to keep them evenly spaced apart. (You can make one at a time if it makes it easy for you. Cook, until bubbles break the surface of the pancakes, and the undersides are golden brown, about 2 minutes. Flip the pancake with a spatula and cook about 1 minute more on the other side. Serve immediately or transfer to a platter/plate and cover with foil to keep warm. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, adding more butter to the skillet/pan as you need.
If you would like to make it more tasty or interesting you can add fruit to the pancake. To do this when you add the mixture to the pan and the bubbles break the surface, sprinkle some of your favourite fruits. You can add fruits like: banners, blueberries, strawberries, apples and man more.You can even have them all but make sure they are all diced you could even add chocolate chip or nuts.
